“Teenage Popstar Girl,” the music video directed by Daniel Azarian for the roots-rock band Whisperado, has won at the 2012 Robot Film Festival.
The video claimed the Botsker, the official award of the Robot Film Festival, in the category of “Best Human as Robot Actor.” The Festival, founded by social roboticist Heather Knight of Marilyn Monrobot and Carnegie Mellon’s Robotics Institute, showcases and premieres short films that highlight innovation and investigate the impact of interrelations between humans and machines.
